95 Big yellow mallcrawler

I was thinking about using some type of copper brake line, the guys at the shop said the big roll they bought was about $25 but that was for a big work truck for an oil company and I doubt it was anything but baseline.
I'm gonna have to ask the guys there what would be best but i;ll def look into the nicopp.

When I helped to brake lines on that truck i just mentioned the mechanic was saying something about metric and standard fittings you need to match together or something? It was for a gm topkick but I dunno really what he was talking about.
I really wana get the stainless braided lines for mine vs the rubber ones that will dry rot I'm gonna have to look into the Duff ones and price them out.
Brinkers build thread was awesome, I'm gonna be using a lot of his ideas to get some travel outa my ttb, I just wish I could find more info on his steering but Idk if I have aftermarket steering on my truck or not, I figured they would have done something when they lifted it.

I talked to our body guy and he came over the other day and told me what to do with the frame so that's getting sandblasted and then welded up how he said, and he said just use rustoleum primer because chassis saver is bullshit and rustoleum probably makes it for them anyways.
He's built a few custom cars and stuff that were rust heeps when he bought them so I'm prob gonna go with what he said.
My cousins brother-in-law truck had that oil stuff on his truck and it was a pain in the ass when we were putting a new exhaust on it, we all kept getting it on our ands and in our hair so as much as that may work it makes working on the truck a bitch.
I gotta look into that por15 stuff, never heard of it.
I kinda want to buy new fender protectors, the plastic on mine is old and shitty and the holes for screws are all beat up, If I can find anythign in the aftermarket that's better I probably will, but I may just save the cash and reuse mine.

What I really need to do is work on finding a styleside short bed and I want to start building a 2.3 turbo and i'm gonna start researching that some more to price it out. I did hear of a couple people out by west newton and ruffsdale that had some for sale but I really don't know what to even pay for one.

Is this bad? This was coming out of one of the radiator hoses, the coolant drained and didn't look bad, but then I found this sitting in there a few days later after the truck had been moved around.

Got the Cab pulled off:

Anyone know what that is? Should I have it connected?^

they arent the tires from that truck. there were good tires on it and the owner before swapped em out. but i do have camber issues with how its sitting.
im probably going to buy that axle from 1bad if i can find a 4.10 for up front.
also im definitely going to be doing either a duratec or lima turbo swap, i need to find a block and some pistons and a 2.5 head.

looks like one of my buddys back in erie had a 98 ranger had t replace the frame because of all the ice, salt, water, sand, etc... good luck with it tho im glad i moved down south so i wouldnt have to deal with the rust but i got a b2 from jersey ha just my luck
