94 ranger wont turn over

I want to thank you all for your guidance on this. In the past I would have just taken it to the shop by now. My wife is terminally ill and medical bills are crushing my finances. My SIL came over yesterday and worked at it for a few hours with no luck.

Thank you!

Its on the drivers side inner fender panel in front of the clutch master cylinder , just behind the power distribution box

I dont know if this will help. I destroyed the clutch master getting it out of the way. The " captive " nuts tore loose with frozen screws in them. In all that thrashing , the clutch switch came un plugged. Went to start, Nothing. Maybe the plug in connection is loose.

Could this also be called a solenoid? I have already replaced the solenoid. Round held on with two screws/bolts.

Thanks,

The clutch switch is bypassed.

Any other ideas out there?

Well I replaced the started even though it tested good at Autozone and the truck starts fine now.

Thank for all your help.

yep, usually is the starter. you can take the old one apart and clean it real good, and replace the brushes and have a spare.
