idiots who did clutch failed to torque/locktite driveshaft bolts. when driveshaft fell off, truck was moved short distance w/front wheel drive only. now, w/driveshaft reconnected, 4x4 will not work properly. clunking and other weird sounds coming from transfer case. ideas?

If it's an electric case like Pale Blue 90 asks there everywhere find a used one and replace it.If it's a manual your probably going to have to fix it.If you replace it save your shift motor they die sometimes.

If its a manual case they didn't get the shifter set up right. Hop under and check the shifter arm where it connects to the case, see if the notch is locked into the nut and that the retaining nut is tight.

Thanks all- was hubs

put on a set of warn hubs, all good.
super 4.0ohv pros please check out my new thread, burnt#5 exhaust valve, possible pushrod/lifter problem?
