I'm having a problem finding the right stud extenders for my truck. I have a 94 XLT 4wd extended cab. I bought a 2 inch leveling kit and it came with 5/8" stud extenders but they are too big. I am having trouble finding the right ones anywhere. Apparently, they are different for extended cabs? What do I do? I figured someone on here has ran into the same problem and might know what size I need or where to find them. Thanks in advance

What "studs" are you trying to extend?

Good question. Only thing I'm familiar with having extensions is the shifter extension (not a stud) and the front shocks. I would just go longer shocks. If 2" even needed that...

If you’re talking front shock stud extenders, unless you did extended Radius arms, it’s likely not going to flex enough to be a problem for stock shocks. If you’re really worried about, there are longer shocks available.

If I get a chance later I may be able to post up some extended shock options.

Just realized OP is a new member.

Welcome to TRS! Post up a pic or 2 of your truck.

Maybe what he bought are 2" coil spring spacers and they're taller than the double-sided bolt that holds the bottom of the spring to the beam?

I wouldn't run those. I would say max spacer lift is constrained by the threads available, and buy longer springs. If you want to do whatever, since you already have the nut off, just take it to the hardware store and thread-check it.

^Forgot about those. I used 1/2 in washers on mine.
