94 b4000 axle swap/offroad build

You can ship your u-join axle shafts to me:D

I think i have a spare set if you are seriously intrested, it is gonna be a little while (a week or two) as i severly need to do some spring cleaning and find out what i do and dont have and where the heck it all is. i'm still lookin for a lift bracket for boggin.

called ballistic regardein the backorder, their lazer cutter was aparentely down last week and the begining of this week. he said they will be cut and everything will be shipped by friday.
also called rusty's regarding the upper bushin mount's and had a very similar response . said they will be shipped out tomorow, their lazer ran outta gas for the cutter. HMMM you would think they would have extra onhand? if it is imparitive to have to run a lazer cutter??? i understand brakedown's but this seem's like something that could have likely been prevented

Or they just came up with something for an excuse? Idk. I'm still working on which way to go for my d30 swap.

What size joints are on the rustys long arms?

the frame side joint's are (johni joints)2.63 end with 1-1/2x12 threads, the axle side uses factory size jeep rubber bushing's. i'm kina think the whole excuse thing seem's to me last time I ordered from them i had to call and they made up somekinda excuse as well. however i broke a tooth in half last night and spend a good part of today at the dentist's so I wasnt really in the mood to argue.

thanks for that. i plan on running the same set-up. johnny joints on frame side and stock xj stuff on axle. keep my costs somewhat down that way.

it seems like everyone has problems with ballistic. Delt with them twice and was happy with them.

axle shaft i do want but will have to wait a bit due to low funds from insurance, plates, etc for my vehicles and other thibgs that always seem to pop up.

Really i ordered all my part's OVER a week ago and NONE have shipped yet. it's given me enough time rethink if i want to keep my truck or build the EXP with the kid on the way and all the EXP would be really nice.

Keep your truck and build the exploder so that you can have a family off roader and a personal one plus still be able to hual your dirt bikes around easily too.

i think if i pick up a sploder i'll throw the D-35 under my truck and throw a SL on it and then build the exp

so i TEMPORARLY tossed the 9 inch under my truck. no it's not gettin wheeled around my garage or yard. once the perche's get here it's gonna sit an inch highter, It still might need some triming. but she's definately gonna be a little wider. this week i'll start lookin at driveshft, shock's, brake line's, breather's and all that other good stuff.

I thought i was gonna spend the afternoon workin on the truck pullin shock's and makin a new crossmember for the rear shock's. Instead i spent the afternoon puttin my 16ft wide garage door back in. A cable snapped and all hell broke loose, garage door came slammin down and bent the crap outta the two side rail's pullin the bolt's thru as well. It's all in now has, 2 new side track's, monted more secure and i could pull a truck out with the replacement cable. what a PITA. only thing accomplished today aside from rehanging the door is hauled the waggy44 back here for the b-inlaw's B2.

looking good glad to see your building this instead of the ex. theyre just too heavy and bulky in my opinion

well the exp isnt outta the question, if i find one for a good deal i'll be sweepin it up. but i'm not gonna hold my breath in the meantime. it'll make thing's alot easier to be able to throw a car seat in the back then try and drive with one in the front.
