94 b4000 axle swap/offroad build

this is why everyone needs an iPhone 4!! 5mp camera w/ everything you need lol.

I dont have an iphone and my Nokia takes better pics than my digital camera.

as far as I phones or e phones or any phone i will break it. I need a phone that is tough as nails and is cheap to replace when i drown it,drop it, smash it, or loose it.

even with the insurance it still costs me bout 20 bucks to replace my phone. they charge my brother bout 75 every time he breaks his I phone

that's why i got this guy. makes phone calls really good.i tell ya.

I use my Archos 43 internet tablet (runs android 2.2) to take pictures/videos and upload them to photobucket.

My nokia E73 has a 5mp camera on it but geting pictures from it to photobucket is a process.

come on now, who uses a phone to make phone calls???

and i've never broke my iphone w/ my otterbox. the 3g otterbox is great! the 4, its alright... protects my phone-- but the case has broke lol

yeah somthing my phone can do that yours cant (without your cover) is be used as a tack hammer and still work. it also works as a good level when it falls outta your pocket it will let you know what way is down and then you can still call ppl and let them know. it will tell me if its raining out just by holding the phone out if it gets wet then i know it is.

i dont typically need the internet at the drop of a hat while im in the middle of ________.
however the great thing about these smart phones that i do like is gps. when my brother rides with me i dont have to guess how fast(or slow) im going by doin the math in my head. his I phone has an app that will project your speed up onto the winsheild for you. that's kinda nice.

hopefully i will post some snorkel pics tomorow.

WELP... snorkel is on-in still waiting to snap some pics.

i think i may just be pickin up an first gen explorer in the next week. if all works out you will most likely see the axles come out of my truck and get swaped for the D35 with the 6'' lift. i'll run it like that for the summer while i swap the 44/9 under the explorer. and make the grocerie/family wheeler. then i can spend that time gearing my axles and doin some refiguring to the suspension. if i take out a side window i will most likely get creative. after everything is done (including 5 speed swap) i have a buddy that is VERY intrested in buying my truck even tho he know's it will be a striped down version.

what's up with everyone going explorers now? lol

simple, i have gf who i have know for 8 years has 2 kids and need something that can hual the family and at the sametime go wheeling with all of them. Plus you also get to have extra space to hold stuff too. I also just want an exploder because i know just about everything about them, thanks to TRS.

tryin to find a set of axles that way i can jsut build a completely new truck while i wheel mine. the wheelin club brought up a good point that i can no longer have my truck down all winter as we wheel from time to time in the winter as well. we prolly only miss about 2 months and even then we still play around a little here and there. so hopefully i can find another set of axles for the same deal.

Forget about TTB and just SAS the exploder and keep your truck as she is.

havent done squat to the truck in a while. gotta get it prepped for wheelin next weekend. actually took it for a ride in the woods last weekend. which is the first dirt/ mud it's seen since the last club outting. here's a couple shot's from the trail's we were on in my back yard. nothing to hardcore but a fine afternoon nonethe less. the last two pics are of a trail ive been trying to beat in. it has a little creek crossing most the time but in the springs it's a nice little river crossing. the hill after it is kinda a bear with snow on the ground but fun none the less.

Damn, wish I had your backyard.

it's the great part of living in the northwood's. i can leave from my house and run trail's like this all day and never run the same one twice. as a matter or fact i could prolly leave for at least 4 day's and never touch pavement.

washed the truck today and got it shinin pretty. just in time to get it muddy saturday.
also took back some scrap metal in the truck today. lemme tell you cramming 500 pounds of metal in the back of my truck along with all my trail stuff is a chore. but i now i know that my truck in 100% trail trim weigh's 4740lbs

a helpfull hint for washing your truck. if you dont want to wax your truck but still want it to shine. wash it with murphy's oil soap. i hand wax my truck twice a year but when i want it to shine mid summer and dont want to wax it. i will wash it with regular car soap then go over it again with murphy's oil soap mixed in a bucket of fresh water the same way i would normally wash it. not quite the shine of wax but still look's pretty damn good. and you dont have to spend all the time waxing. (also work's well when cold out)
