My lock pin broke in half splitting 1 of the spiders in half. Lucky thing is it did not hurt any of the other gears or parts in side. Plus I cant get the stupid lock bolt out that held the pin in. I stripped the damn head on the bolt and am still trying to get it out without snapping it. Anyone know how much two spider gears and a lock pin for a 94 ranger 4x4 7.5 rear end cost. also the best place to buy the parts from. Is there a way to put the spiders back in without pulling the axles out. (Lazy)

I've got the pin and spiders from my 7.5", if interested.

Also, get one of the stripped bolt removers from Sears. They've saved me many times. They'll suck that pin right out.

What gears do you have? If they're 3.73 or 4.10 you will need a notched crosspin, and to install it you must remove the carrier and ring gear, OR if you're feeling brave take a dremel to the inside edge of the ring gear and clearence it to get a full pin in, it's stronger and easier, this doesn't effect gear strength as the pinion doesn't contact the ring there, it's also common, I did mine a year ago.
