94 302 efi or carb

on a 94 f150 would the 302 be efi or carbd?

EFI. Last carbs on any Ford was the Police 351's. Pickups got EFI'd in 86. The 94 F150 5.0 will have the better F4TE roller cam. Specs are 256/266 Advertised duration, 116.5 LSA and lift is .422/.445 (1.6's) .445/.473 with 1.7's. Essentially the same engine as the 94 Mustang, except for the cam and intake combo.

Actually, the 302 got EFI (athough rare) on pickups in 85. The 300 didnt get it till 87, and the first year for an EFI 351 was 88. The 460 also got EFI in 88.

Police 351's? Did they stop useing those in like 84 or 85?

But either way, the 94 you speak of will be EFI.

Everything I've heard about the police 351's was they had carbs till the end. Could be wrong though. They're rare as hens teeth now after 18 years.

I think the Vic PI's had the EFI H.O 302 starting in 86. My dad had a 85 PI Vic with the 351W H.O PI in it. That sumbitch ran like crazy. But i believe it was the last year according to what people told him.

91 was the last year...but some were sold as a 92 model the 351 were interceptors.

they have the good pan for swapping into rangers as well.
