93 Splash bed on 93 ext cab

I have a chance to get a bed, roll pan, and gas tank from a friend who's Splash crapped the bed for $200. Is this a bold in ordeal or is it more of a pain in the ass than its worth. The Splash was a 4.0, and my truck is a 3.0 ext cab 4x4. I'd like to do this to make doing the body work and such on my current bed a lot easier since I'd still be able to drive the truck. Thanks.

The bed will bolt up, you just swap the filler hose, and rear bumper.
