93 3.0 5 speed 4x4

the truck looks pretty empty in the picture or it has beefed up springs.

that ladder rack and topper add weight but not enough to kill it from a dead stop. i would still consider it empty.

if you have 1500 pounds of tools on top of that though ... then that is probably the problem ....

are you absolutely sure it has 4.10 gears... because that should be perfect.

is the rear diff heating up? does it have a hanger bearing?

seen those bind up on accel before
4.10s. pulled last night because I suspected it had 3.7s or something and already has 4.10s. Wheel seal started leaking a while back found the bearing was bad and smoked my axle. it has been like this for the last 3 years I’ve owned it. Just got done rebuilding the front end and no there’s not a lot of weight in it. I’ve drove it with everything off also. Me and a buddy are scratching our heads on what’s going on. Thinking possibly a different trans but the ratios between them are not going to make or break what’s going on. From what I’m seeing there’s a lot of similar setups here but no one’s having these issues. And i doubt it was this much of a dog from factory.

they are nutless.

may be a calibration issue with the maf or clogged fuel filter or injectors or shitty plugs/gap or something like that.

seems it would run rougher or enough to mention if the plug wires were off 1.

does it have a oem intake and air filter system?

A plugged catalytic converter would severely limit the exhaust flow... if someone didn't keep up on misifres it could definitely do it... but you would probably have had DEQ issues...

4.10s really should be ideal for those tires.

how’s your mpg. I’m getting 12 and it’s a dog lol. Motor runs great just feels really high geared.
Usually around 15. Something isn't right with your engine.

Have you attempted to pull any codes yet? Also, it has happened to me: I would also loosely stuff a rag in the exhaust pipe & rev it up a bunch, a normal flowing exhaust system should be able to blow it out right away.

Runs good, have cleaned maf, plugs wires cap and rotor done. New fuel filter. Planned on checking fuel pressure and throwing injectors in it. It looses a little power when climbing hills pinned randomly and idle is the slightest bit shakey. But I don’t feel it’s down that much pose if any overall. Like I was saying this is based off me not driving another 3.0. My cousin blew my doors off in his 4cyl 1st gen lol

did you try it with the maf disconnected?

i say this....disconnecting the maf and map sounds crazy but there is a reason for it.
