91 explorer suspension 01 ranger?

is it possible to fit stock 4wd 91 explorer shocks and coil springs in my 01 2wd ranger? and would this lift it at all? any help is much appreciated thanks.

no and no.....shocks do not provide life, springs do....shocks simply smooth out the ride, and someone that may know more about the 01 chime in to as what kind of susp the 2wd has, if its torsion bars like the 4wd u can crank them to lift/lower them, if they are twin beam like all older 2wds, then u can do a drop beam or drop spring.....

i do have coil springs in the front...i didnt really have the intention of using the explorer shocks but i would like to use the springs if at all possible
