It’s come time to sell my Ranger. I love this thing so much but I’m planning on serving an LDS mission so it’s time I sell the truck
1991 Supercab 4.0 4x4 3.73 gears auto
160k miles
Spray painted red over the OEM black. It’s honestly one of the best spray paint job I’ve seen on a car so I’ve been shoot with it.
Rear wheel wells were bondoed when it was painted but it’s starting to crack and come off (still looks great though)
I was told that the lift is 4 inches. Not sure what brand but my guess would be rough country
Interior is amazing in my opinion. 1 cut in the drivers seat fabric and a few stains here and there in the seats/carpet. Dash is really good with 1 small crack
It’s got front and rear sway bars which is nice
The muffler is taken off but I still have it along with the tail pipe. (Still has cats and headers and all that)
Full synthetic oil changes every 3k ish miles
Parts I’ve replaced during ownership:
Not in order but if you want I do have a not that’s in order
Brakes: discs pads calipers. Drums shoes wheel cylinders. Wheel bearings
Lots of bushing.
Steering: inner and out tie rods. Upper and lower ball joints.
HVAC: ALL coolant hoses. Aluminum radiator. Water pump. Thermostat. AC refrigerant evacuated and Recharged.
Timing chain and tensioner
Spark plugs and wires
Fuel filter
Air filter
Rear differential fluid.
Tires 31x10.5r15 Venom Power
Rockford Fosgate speakers and pioneer Sub
All rear U joints
AGM battery
Harmonic balancer
Serpentine belt
Mile marker hubs for
And I think that’s it…
As you can see I’ve spent a lot of time, money, blood, sweat, and tears on this truck.
Current known issues
Rear left axle seal is leaking so that and the brake shoes would need to be replaced due to contamination.
A little play in the steering and a little looseness in the diff or driveline
Front upper strut bushings are gone so there’s some looseness on things like speed bumps and a jingling sound from that washer bouncing around up top
Tailgate is a little hard to open but it still opens every time if you shake it a little bit
Overall it runs and drives great and I wouldn’t hesitate driving it on a long trip or on any terrain.
I’ll add more pictures once I clean it later this week or next week
