Lots of questions here, hope you can help out. I have a stroked (5.7l rods) 2.3merkur motor. Mild port work done also. I also got the t3 garret in good shape with it. (motor supposed to only have 10k on it). The install isnt an issue, but what I want is for my stock gauges to still function. Does any one have a pin to pin for a 96 eec-v? Will the gauges heat/amps/fuel/speedo, even work off of an older eec? I am going to replace the header to retain my a/c. Check engine light, I will just pull the bulb! I also have airbags but I guess diabling them is easy enough. The guy I got the setup from said it rins over 250hp at 15psi, looking forward to getting it in. The stock 5speed probably wont last long so I am looking for a t5 to go with it. Already installed prelude buckets anyway.
thanks!

the 96 ECU is designed for coil packs & 2 O2's ?

Do I just not use that portion of it? The 89 motor has a distributor. Do i just disable those pins and hook up a normal ignition. Is ther somone in particular at Turbofords i should ask about wiring the eecv to a tc motor?
Thanks again!
