89 ranger 4x4. aka the rattlin ranger Build.. pic heavy

You have the two piece driveshaft? When I had the vibrations it was the carrier bearing rubber isolator that caused it. Swapped to a one piece and Tue vibrations went away.

i had that problem with my 93 4x4, i replaced the "clutch disc" (for the factory LS)in my rear end and it went away.

i have a 8.8

and why are some people saying the cut and turned beams are a bad idea??? 4x4 prerunners do it all the time. dave at threat motorsports sells dana 35 beams that have been cut and turned. its done to get rid of the lift brackets so you dont put a hole in the top of the diff. Thank you for the pics of the jig you built, im building my jig on thursday so i can get mine done..great build!!!

Im thinking it might be clutch chatter. I got cheap and just tossed in a new clutch disk on and nothing else to make it by till I swap in the np435 or m5od. I put new u-joints tonight helped a little bit " or seems like it did " I did have one joint that was dry to.

My simple rear bumper made from the cut and turn jig. Its only 5/16 thick scared I might dent it lol

Since my radius arms ended up in the same place as my trans mount I changed things up a little bit

I really like the looks if that. I like the indent for the plate.

yeah I cut that out of the old bumper. Just gives it that lil extra touch.

Got my BDS xj coils friday and thought I was ready to swap my cut beams in at the same time. The drivers side will be easy just have to drill a new hole in the drop bracket. The passenger side not so much. I just have the plate that drops the factory mount. I turned my beams 4inches, not knowing what my lift was. After some measurements. The drop brackets holes are 5inches. So if I have my figures right I need a 1inch drop bracket. If I remember the "hi-rider" was 1 or 1.5 inch over a base 4x4 right ?

Ended up just making a new bracket. Really it was kinda simple !

I also got my beams finished, plated over the cut and turn then a nice coat of black.

Man I got excited lastnight about the springs and turned beams then FAIL. Im not sure what but I must have measured something wrong my axle is in the bind AKA the beams might be to close together. At ride height the passenger side axle is sticking out by the center u-joint. But anyway here it is halfway back together

Today's aftermath, broke auto hub or hubs " didn't take long " broke rear glass from slamming the slider shut. last a Alt. gone bad from a lil mud I guess. Oh and a brake hose.
only got one pic from after I got home " under its own power from 50ish miles "nice" I will get some pics of the hubs tomorrow.
