I just read thru all the posts and it seems like you're bouncing around a lot. dirtcowboy brings up a good point, have a plan, stick to it and spend money once. As far as body lifts and bushings go, I just ordered mine from jeg's. I shopped around and they have the best price and free shipping. Performance Accesories 3" body lift comes with everything you need, bolts, bumper brackets, steering extension etc. P/N 734-PA753 If you decide to go this route I highly recommend doing urethane body bushings too, again available at jeg's P/N 355-4-4105R. A 3" B/L with 235's isn't a bad looking setup. You could run it like that until you save up for your next round of mods. Personally, I'd do a good set of shocks. Plan for a solid weekend with a few buddies if you're not too experienced. Also, 5 pages and no pics :icon_confused:

Sorry if it is confusing reading through my posts. I have been kind of thinking out loud in the forums, changing my mind when I get new input or think of things. As for what I want to do next... I need to do something about the tire rubbing the fender. I looked online and there are people using baseball bats and phonebooks to roll up the inner fender lip (wtf). Anyone have experience with that? As for later down the road, I have decided against the body lift, I want to keep the bronco stock for now (besides the tires/wheels). That being said, I would like to install all brand new stock suspension components (shocks, leafs, coils). BroncoGraveyard has a really good selection of OEM parts, but the total would be around $600. I might take your advice and just go with new shocks all around to start off with, then later do the leafs/coils. What do you guys think?
Here are some pictures:

That's all I have for now. I promise to get pictures tomorrow with the new wheels/tires. I will try to wash it before I take the pictures but it's supposed to be really cold so we'll have to see. Just realized the last picture doesn't show the Bronco II emblems on the side. We took them off for the paint, they have since been reunited with their mother.

37 Degrees and raining, a little too chilly for a sexy swimsuit bath on my truck... :icon_rofl:

Went out with a cloth and wiped some of the rain drops off and took some photos. Not the best in the world but they show what you guys need to see. You can also tell she hasn't seen a wash or wax in a while, I will get her lookin' pretty again when I'm not so busy and the weather will cooperate. No more stalling, here are the pictures:

She's not the prettiest or fastest thing in the world, but she's mine :headbang:

Was reading through my thread just to see how my ideas had changed since the beginning and what-not. I haven't really made a post yet about everything that needs to be done/ what I want to do on it as of now. After much thinking, I have finally made a list of everything I want to do (will probably change if I think of more stuff).
As for the suspension, I want to keep it all stock height:
Replace shocks, leaf springs, and coil springs. I will start off with the shocks then do the springs when I get the money/time.
As for audio/stereo (not a main priority):
I want to get a new head unit, some subs, and an amp (a whole new stereo setup).
As for random stuff that needs fixing:
Needs new A/C compressor. Driver side interior door handle needs replacing. I need to take a look at the door locks (Power and manual don't work. My guess is the locks are seized. Will pick up WD-40 tomorrow at Home Depot.) I need to either glue the door panel I already have down after I replace the door handle or get a new panel altogether (probably the first mentioned). My rear hatch doesn't close/latch all the way on the driver side, I have duct tape on it right now to push the light button down. I want to put in a headlight relay to the ignition at some point so I don't accidentally leave the headlights on again. I still haven't gotten to rolling the fenders yet but like I said, I'm going to home depot tomorrow and I'm gonna pick up a heat gun. I'm gonna use the baseball bat method and see what happens.

I got around to washing her up today. Will try to get some pictures tomorrow of the fender rolling and what she looks like after the wash.

Ok, so the fender rolling ended up being a bust... Went to home depot and found the heat gun I needed (cost $25). Also got WD-40 to attempt to fix the door locks (didn't work). I got started with the heat gun but quickly realized I had too much space between the tire and the fender. I got out the jack and realized I didn't have a wood block so I put the jack on a cinder block I had laying around. I don't have any solid surfaces to work on so I have to do it in my driveway which consists of rocks and dirt. Basically, I couldn't get the jack to sit right to actually lift the axle up and push the tire towards the fender. I was pissed at this point and just gave up before I ruined everything. Got a few pictures of her washed up but you can't even see anything because it was so cloudy. I have to work for a while tomorrow, I'll see what time I get home and take a crack at the fender rolling if I have time. If it doesn't work out then I guess I will just order a fender rolling tool. If anyone has any other cheap methods for fender rolling (no phonebooks or hammers), I would like to hear them.

IMHO, don't roll the fenders. Take the wheels and tires back, talk to the store manager, sell them or whatever but don't roll the fenders. It's a hack job that probably won't get you enough clearance and if you are going that far you might as well cut them.

Hmm...I'm almost certain rolling the fenders will get me the clearnece I need. It's hitting on the sidewall of the tire. Why do you consider rolling a "hack job"? I want to keep my vehicle looking stock, no fender cutting, so rolling them is exactly what I need. I will also be getting new shocks soon, so that will help significantly. Thanks for your input.

I was looking yesterday and I think the PO rolled the front fenders, but there is a spot left on the top of one of them that is still sticking out lol.

Ok, it's a hack job because it's not the right fix. Correct wheels or a lift would be better than learning how to roll a fender on your nicely painted truck.
Rolling a fender never seems to get as much clearance as you need. The suspension does more than go up and down, it shifts around a bit and you always seem to need more clearance than you thought.
I'm not being "holier than thou", I've done my share of hack jobs when needed and regretted almost all of them.

I can see that you are frustrated.. I wasn't trying to insult you by asking. In your first post, you basically just said, "don't do it because I'm saying so". Then didn't give me any reasoning. I will take your input into consideration because you say you've done it before and I have zero experience. That doesn't mean I'm not going to do it, but I will be extremely careful. If I see it ruining the paint, I will stop. As for it not giving me the space I need, I see where you are coming from. Whether or not it gives me all the space I need, it will still give me more than what I have now. Once again, thank you for your input.

Because these are page url's and not image address. The image url looks like:

You need the I. Before gyazo.com and .jpg at the end.

I'm not frustrated, just hoping to help you avoid doing something that may not go well. Typing this on my phone makes the words seem harsher than they are meant to be. Sorry about that.
Whatever you choose I wish you the best of luck.

Ok haha, I was wondering why you seemed so hostile. Thanks for you the luck. If I mess up the fenders, I will post it on here so you can brag that you were right. :bawling:
