89 2.3 coolant gauge sender

where is the sending unit for the coolant temp gauge? mine is pegged to cold all the time, but the truck warms up and runs normally. new thermostat, heater core, and radiator.

Upper rear of the block, drivers side. It has one wire going to it.shady

i think i found it, looks like it really sucks to get to being right under the intake manifold like that. its round, right? i was only able to see it on my back under the truck.

the wire is still hooked up, i'll try playing with it this weekend.
