88 monster ranger II build the second time

i had built an 88 ranger just like the one im building now but i had to move to eastern wa and was forced to get rid of it. now i have another 88 extended cab and this one is not going to be as tall as my last one.

have a fw d44 hp with radius arm setup for the front and a 9in for the rear. moving the leaf springs under the frame and adding a buggy leaf. 5.5 in eb coil springs.

welln right now its stock but have the full width d44 high pinion and ford nine inch with 4.88 gears. looking for a set of 39.5 for it. i just finished the cross member tonight and tomorrow im going to finish bolting on the link brackets. the on to the track bar frame mount. will post more pictures later

well havent had time to work on it this week at all. long hours at work. but i found a 5 speed trans from an explorer with the 1354 transfer case for 80$. couldnt pass it up. now i can get rid of that crappy a4ld that never shifts right. so i will be doing this swap along with my sas 44.

no, not really, built some actual shock hoops for the front, and got my doubler all finished and put in...but havnt really used it much.. just been working alot down here.

sorry i have been super busy lately and switched jobs and houses so i have neglected my project til this last week. i got the front axle in and linked. track bar made and steering also. just need to set up the gears, make drivelines and then strip it all down at paint it.

just picked up a complete 3.8 supercharged v6 from a supercoupe with the wiring and computer. and got a complete overhaul shift kit for my c6. that will be my winter project. rebuilding the engine and c6 for next year.

finally got everything together and drove it today. still need shocks and fender trimming.
