I am rebuilding the top end on my 86 ranger with a 2.9. Will the pacesetter headers fit on my truck?

My understanding is the headers wont have fitting for the pipe that goes to the egr valve.

The rear flange on the y-pipe will also be wrong. The cats changed in 88 when they stopped using egr on the 2.9 and changedthe shape of the flange to keep the egr cats from being put on a non-egr engine.

So how much modification would be needed to either run duals or change the flanges on the y pipe.

Bumppp I also have a 86 2.9 and I plan on replacing the whole exhaust. So if I get a universal Cat and find a place to put the EGR on the pacesetter headers there shouldnt be a problem. Right?
