I've already replaced the coil, distributer cap, and button, all plugs and wires, and tried jumping it. Fuel Pump energizes... any ideas? Sorry im new to rangers.

what kind of no start? does it just click with no turning over? or does it just crank and crank? do you have spark at the plugs? fuel at the rail?

timing belt broken?

Are you getting fuel to the fuel rail? If not, your inertia switch (normally located inside the cab on the passenger side firewall), may be "open".

nah, he said the fuel pump energizes. what kind of not starting again... like WS asked.

It just cranks and cranks. Already reset inertia switch. It has fuel at the rail and has spark too... im thinking its the timing belt also or at least something timing related...

if the timing belt was broken, it would sound "lopsided" while cranking.

if you dont know an engine with one or two dead cylinders sound like when it cranks, you should remove the front cover and see if the belt is still there/cam still turning.

it sounded ok to me but im taking the cover off to be sure.

How was the timing belt? You say you've got fuel at the rail, are the injectors working? fire+air+fuel should = go! :) BTW did you try pulling codes? maybe a clue?
