I see a plastic knob covering some kind of control on the fuel rack. IIt does turn and would like to know how to adjust. Please advise.

The only plastic knob I can remember seeing on the fuel rail really is just a cap that protects the shrader style valve for checking the fuel pressure and bleeding air from the fuel lines.

yep, that just the cover to protect the valve, that is where you check your fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge.

Thanks for the explanation. I found it loose and it was causing slow & fast idle. I hand tightened it and it works fine. To day was my first day at this forum and already got prompt and good response. Thanks Guys....!!

Uh.....:icon_confused:

It shouldn't be able to do that....:icon_confused:

It's just a dust cap, no different from the caps on your valve stems. In fact i lose the one on my sister's car and put a valve stem cap on in its place. It doesn't have the ability to affect your idle speed...:icon_confused:

gotta love noobs.....:icon_cheers:

Well, it might... if the valve itself is bad and causing a fuel seepage....

But yea, under normal circumstances it shouldn't affect the idle.
