86 Ranger 4x4 where to mount CB

I have a Galaxy DX 959 with SSB.

In my old Bronco II I mounted it on the hump next to the shifter. I now have a 88 Ranger, but haven't decided where to put it. Any ideas and or pics from a first generation Ranger or Bronco II.

no pics, but mine is just below and to the right of the ashtray. the mount is screwed into the sheet metal there. i left enough room to mount some gauges down there between the steering column and the radio.
btw, how did the camping/gold panning trip go for you?

I thought of the same location. I went to the place I use to go at Oxbow, but they converted it into a raft loading and unloading site and buried the old soil with 20 feet of new dirt. Not good for me and then went to Mufford bar, both on the middle fork of the American River, but they turned that into a motorcross track. Again not good for me. So I just went camping.

Now I am working on my Ranger to go camping and the works with it. I have some other places to check up on.
