86 broncoII brake issue

well my brakes have been acting funny since i went to the rockwell axles with pinion brakes (toyota 4 piston calipers). the power brakes are hard to push and when i apply the brakes, the pedal sticks... i have to lift the pedal to get the brakes to release... bad booster? bad master? any ideas?

Sounds like the master. But for a precaution I'd replace both as a unit.
