86 b2 Coil wires

I just put another engine in my 86 b2. WHen I went to plug in the coil plug I noticed only 2 wires connected together at one end (Red I believe) and at the other end the wire was gone, I did find a green/yellow wire that was broke off, could this be it? Im scared to hook it to the coil and blow the computer or something..

I'm not positive about your year but in my 88 the green with yellow stripe wire goes to -neg on the coil. Maybe wait for a definite answer first.

YAY! That solved that Problem. Now i im having another issue.. But Ill start another thread.
