84 2.3 Timing issues.

are you talking idle air adjustment or the one that holds the throttle open the one that holds the throttle open is called a anti deisel screw it keeps the throttle from closing too far when you let your foot off the gas. when you turn the antideisel screw to where it is not touching does the idle motor control the idle. How are you making out on getting the vacuum lines and leaks plugged.

its running fine right now, got it insured, put about 150 miles or so on her and shes running good so im not gonna worry about it for now. there is only one thing electric on the carb, on the side of it, it makes a kind of pulsing/pumping noise when the key is on..

Yea thats the feedback solenoid it controls the air fuel mix or the air bleed to the carb the 0-2 sensor tells the computer when to run lean or rich. Glad you got it goin good job.

Thanks, yea, i got my first tank mpgs, its like 16.5 mpg, so i'm going to track down all those vacuum leaks and if that doesn't work, maybe put the non feedback carb I have on and adjust the fuel/air mix manually I guess
