83 b2 ?????????

Hello. i have stumbled upon an 83 B2, for 100 bucks. is this a good platform for the 4.0 swap or should i just move along to a better year? i understand the fuel injection issue but i can work around that.

I agree, buy it!!! They are a perfect platform for a 4.0 swap, guys on here do it all the time.

You should get it. It can't be an 83 though, B2's didn't come out until the 84 model year. I'll bet it's an 84 built in 83.

Even if you find you don't need it you can double your money at a scrap yard (at least around here they guarantee $200 minimum for a scrap vehichle)
