our mall was shot up 2 weeks ago.attempt on armed armor car guard near food court.at least one bullet wizzed over the table where a family was enjoying lunch,and passed through a large window overlooking front parking lot.guard shot,suspect shot in the face by guard and in custody.both recovering.5 shots in all.you just never know.i have carried in the mall in the past,when cold enough to wear a coat or jacket.on behalf of my family,our condolences to those families affected by this senseless act of cowardly brutality.

My prayers and sympathy to all those affected by this.

I turn 21 this summer while Im at OCS. As soon as I get home Im getting me a 1911 and a CC permit.

This shooting couldn't have lasted longer than a minute, I don't see how someone with a ccw could have stopped it. This particular situation where the shooting lasts a short while and the shooter kills himself its unlikely you'd have the time to react to the situation unless you were in the right place at the right time. I could see you saving a bank robbery or something possibly.
