8.8 swap help

I just ordered my 8.8 swap kit from Ruff Stuff and I am very happy with the customer service, Dan answered any and all of my questions about size and fit of the kit before I made my order. Now I can't wait to get the swap started when it comes in

Ok, my eyes must be getting old, I could swear that damn tube measured 3" last time I checked it.

It actually measures out at 3 3/16" diam. on bare metal. And that was measured with a micrometer, traceable to NIST. The perches form Summit fit without any modification though.
