8.8 Swap almost done

I have almost finished the 8.8 swap. I moved the leaf springs under the frame and narrowed an Explorer housing 6" with 31 spline Moser axles. I made my rear wheels using stock Ranger centers with 10" wheel blanks. I am running 15x5's on the front with 15x10's with 275/60R15's tucked up under the wheel wells. I widened the wheel wells 1 3/4" and tomorrow am getting the bed Spray lined. I also made my own set of slapper style traction bars......Currently I have a stock 2.3 with a 5 spd. The plan is to put a 5.0 with a TCI trans. soon!

welcome to TRS, (looks like you've been lurking awhile) looks like a pretty sweet first gen. you should create a build thread in the RBVs under construction

Are you gonna stay a low rider? There is a section for low riders here. Post in that section and you guys can drool over your photos and maybe go to one of the shows or get togethers thay have once in awhile!!! everybody is different and that is what makes the world go round, Bro!!!

Thanks..... not really sure how all this thread stuff works and where to place my truck. But I will be staying lowered as that was a huge part of this area of the build. I used 3" drop beams in the front and put the axle over the spring in the rear.
