what do the inner parts look like? is the Torsen still there?

I moved this to the parts for sale forum.

we're a cautious bunch here.
older axles don't always have the original diff anymore so it's best to see what's in there.
the mud is a clear signal to check for water intrusion/rust. BTDT

I'm not looking for one but I'm sure there are a couple guys drooling over this.

Look i am a fair person I had to pick a starting price. At this point maybe I am high. They made 517 2003's and 17,971 combined. However the same guys giving me a hard time...what would they list for? I don't have hurt feelings... Please make an offer.
Market price on all parts combined is $350, +/- 20%

Leaf springs have been cut, so not worth anything. Lift blocks are FoMoCo standard, so worth $0.

Axle looks in poor health. Brakes Shot. Mileage Unknown. Gears Unknown. Cover shot.

Needs extensive amount of work for anything but someone building an offroad rig.

Ask $350, take best offer above $250.

Not being rude, just current value of listing.

I wish I could get it. But I'm not quite in a position to buy and go get it. If the axle shaft journals and sealing surfaces are perfect, I need the axle shafts to replace mine with the worn splines. Brand new axle shafts will run me more than that. Having that Thorsen LS carrier to drop in would be icing on the cake. Not quite as positive acting as my Aussie Locker, but much more forgiving on the road. If it's still available toward the end of the year, I will strongly reconsider. But currently, I'm still paying for my incomplete engine swap and I may be getting "less than optimal" news concerning my health issues vs. future employment.
