look hard and you may find an 8.8 that has already been geared (4.56 is fairly common) for less than the cost of gearing your 7.5. with any luck you might find one from an explorer with discs, limited slip, and 31 spline axles.
ran 33's with a 7.5 for years but didn't wheel too often, and the diff got pretty sloppy after a while.
