i bought a used 6 inch lift for the ranger ,but i didn't get the pitman arm or extended lines with it. my question is where is the cheapest place to get the drop pitman arm and extended brake lines,or other options thanks

I know if you are getting the extreme drop pitman arm for the 6" lift its gonna cost you about $200 just about anyplace you look.

With 6" lift, the Skyjacker "extreme" drop arm is the one you need (pt# FA600). Any other arm will be too short.

As for extended hoses, I would again say Skyjacker. Their stainless braided ones seem to be the highest quality of the ones I've seen. Superlift sells a set of rubber hoses IIRC.

For cheap, I would probably say look on Ebay.

Yeah it's expensive... I think I saw one on eBay for like $175 a while ago.

the fa600 extreme drop pitman arm,is listed for a ford bronco/f150,is it hte same arm for a ranger?

yup, for certain years they are the same, not sure which years where which.

Its the same. The ranger, explorer, b2, bronco, f150, f250, f350 all use the same steering box.

i have a 6 in lift on my truck and i bought a procomp 4in. drop pitman arm for like 80 bucks from 4wheelparts. i dont seem to have any problem and my tierods are almost parallel to my beams. i also bought the procomp steel braided lines from 4WPs and i think those were about $90.

2WD? If so, that's why.
2WDs start out lower than 4WDs yet the steering box is in the same place, so they don't need quite as much steering correction to be acceptable. A full 6" lift on a 4WD makes for some pretty nasty steering with anything but the larger SJ drop arm.

No, Skyjacker pt #FA600.

ANY other arm will be too short, regardless of the false claims it might have about working with 4-6" lifts on RBVs.

I got one (fa600)brand new in box, never opened to your door for $160. I went with superrunner setup instead.
