5th wheel hitch brackets for 2002 Ranger.

I think that's a 25.

The nose cone does wonders I'll bet. The pressure is about half at a 30 degree angle, which that looks to be.

Mine is a 21 RS. Pulls perfectly with the 4.10 gears and O/D off. Front nose makes a huge difference, pulls easier than some scrap loads.

just remember to do earlier tranny fluid changes and i don't see why the truck Cant pull it.

Running Amsoil trans fluid.

Glad you found the husky parts.

Yup thanks!

Looks good

I thought about doing this. Do you have pics??

We towed a 21 foot Skyline for 65K miles. Reese 5th hitch, also back about an inch. Not a "true 5th" install but, handled fine. 2wd/4L/A4LD/3.55 gears. As I recall, those ell brackets looked like generic stock that the hitch installrd just hacksawed a piece off of.
Wonder if you gave any consideration to mirrors?

Just looking to see if anyone makes brackets for the Ranger for a 5th Wheel hitch.

I don't wanna hear "you can't pull that!" or anything of the sort.

If you know where I can find them, great. Or if I need to get universal ones, well just as well.

Thanks.
I am looking the same brackets. If I will find, I will tell you immediately. Can you tell me more details about the brackets you are looking for?

Might want to read the thread again. I found some, have install pictures. They're the Husky Brand downsized brackets and rails for compact trucks.

Running Amsoil trans fluid.

You should still do earlier trans flushes. Just because you are running Amsoil doesn't mean that you aren't still blowing massive amounts of clutch material and burning the fluid with too much heat while towing that huge load.
