4X4 vs 2WD are the cabs the same?

Me again. I am doing the V8 swap into my 85 Ranger 2WD. I have not been able to find a donor truck to rob the cab and stuff from. I did find a 4X4 I can go look at. Does anyone know if the cabs are the same?

I don't see why they wouldn't be. The shifter plate in the floor might be different, but that is a fairly insignificant piece.

The cab is the same between 4x4 and 4x2. The floor plate is different in so many models due to manual trans and transfer case or any variation of the two.
