Yes it works amazingly, my co driver who sits in the back seat is 6'6 and he never gets in the way. it is very handy to have the extra eyes on the road and hands in case of break downs or in some mexico races getting stuck or pulling people out. The center seat has a very good view of the gps and the race course so is very good at telling me what to do. Sometimes im driving blind in dust and his eyes are just glued to the gps right in front of him telling me where to go.

the co driver is still responsible for watching the gauges and mirrors, they also are looking for rocks I can't see and helping to watch the gps also. the back seat can't see the gauges or mirrors and can't see right in front of the truck to see rocks. so just having extra eyes is an advantage

I don't know how far barstow is for u but I'm planning on going to barstow for my birthday on April 16th weekend and will have a big group of people going for anyone who wants to come with us.

like a 2.5 hr trip minimum. I will prolly still be working on the ranger. I had to send the shocks back to King to be rebuilt and do a head job, and rear springs, and mount the OBA, and wire the CB and Radio..... Holy shit i gotta lot of work to do

well then yes i have seen him because i was at huckfest and those pics were taken from huckfest. LOL

There is about 3 or 4 people going on the trip that have birthdays within a week of mine. kinda crazy.

looks like its time to build the exploder.

Some meth-head in a Volvo wagon decided it would be a good idea to run from the cops in the rain and ran a stop light at 100mph, bounced off a durango and t boned a white jetta( not enough left of it to see for sure) which shoved a parked superduty into my parked exploder and then my exploder into the truck infront of me.

Damn that sucks! I was expecting you to say your ranger had been totalled. Then when you said exploder I was expecting the race one. At least you got the least amount of damage, I don't think that's a jetta but I'm not realy sure what it is. Let me guess no insurence or drivers license.

I may have gotten the least amount of damage, but I just got off the phone with the insurance and its totaled.. I'm going to try and buy it back and rebuild it. this is my Fiances car and she loves it and I don't think its gonna be too hard to fix. the decklid still opens and the slightly bent frame can be fixed by either linking it or putting on a new bumper with different shackles. the driver was not the owner of the vehicle and its registration and insurance were expired. so my non insured motorist coverage is covering it.

sounds like a trip to the JY and about 500 bucks and it could be fixed

I picked up a decklid yesterday for 450 and plan to build a new tube bumper for the back

thats awesome brother. What about the shackle mount? Are you just going to cut the portion of the frame off and use some square/rectangle tube to finish out to the new bumper?
