we are just going to cut the frame off behind the shackles and do square from there, I think its just the bumper bracket the shackles is hitting so it should be good once that's gone

now this is an interesting one. originally the insurance company wanted to salvage the exploder and give us the blue book valve of the vehicle ($3000) but we complained enough about the damage to the vehicle not being as bad as they say and it doesnt need to be scrapped. we told them we refuse to get rid of this vehicle and that we will be fixing it so they said ok then our maximum pay out on your policy is 3500 dollars which doesnt cover the cost of repairs but we will send you a check for that and you can do what you want with the vehicle.

so she is all fixed up and just needs a bumper.

as far as cost thats not really a number I can come up with. I was given the beams so just had to cut/turn and plate them and build radius arms. I built everything myself so I was able to save lots of money compared to buying a kit.

reminder to anyone near barstow this weekend, ill be out there this weekend with a big group of trucks if anyone wants to join. we will be trying to get on board camera a video footage of the trucks.

our trip to barstow was a fun trip and overall we had a good time. we had some issues with the truck but we still had fun and got some good videos/pics

thanks i dont know why i fail so much at posting links on this site.

I forgot to mention i got some new lights for the truck and im putting a new motor in since the old one was supposed to be temporary just to get it running and its been in there for a year now and its only had 10psi of oil pressure this whole time, yet its been running fine. Now that the engine and trans are out its time to do some cleaning up and painting so the truck got striped.
i dont know if i posted this but this is the new light pattern for the front.

Damn nice lookin engine is that a 5.0 or a 351, did you put those new SVT heads on there you bought a while back? I've always woundered how difficult a engine swap would be with those engine cages. I can't even imagin the curse words.

neither lol but its the 302 block and yes the svo heads I bought went on this motor, its actually not too bad to get the motor out it took me and my dad about 3 hours. I spent a lot of time designing my cage to be as easy to work on as possible.

Oh thats good I've seen some cages and i'm jsut like how the F*&%! I was gonna guess 302 just by the intake but i've been wrong so many times.
LOL. How much did you bore it over and did you have it dyno'd?

i have not had the motor dynoed i would love to get a rwhp # once its in the truck and the injection is tuned and it is running correctly. I belive it is 30 or 40 over
