4x4 conversion transmission

hey guys so im doing a sas 4x4 conversion and i wanted to know what transmission will i need.

i have a 1994 automatic... so would i need transmission from a 1994 automatic 4x4.. or is there a certain range of years?

also would the engine size matter? i have a 4.0 l v6

Yeah, you'll need a 4x4 tranny from a 4.0 4x4.

You can use one form a 4x4 explorer also.

awesome thanks. i was going to go ahead and take the transfercase as well. would the same things matter for that too. and the driveshafts. just to make it easier on myself
