I know this is next to impossible on the regular 2wd trucks, but since I have the 4wd suspension, how much of a pain would it be to swap in a 4wd drivetrain? It's not like this is ever gonna happen, but I was just curious as to whether or not it could be done.

I am not looking for SAS or anything like that.

Well that looks like a little more than I would be able to handle. The first step is to weld, and well, I don't know how haha

If you want one......just buy one, or take it to a shop and have them do it for you...more expence...lol

I would never take it to a shop and have them do it, they would charge a rediculous amount. I would probably just look at buying one that had 4wd already.

One of my buddies in Deltona, Fl took his wife's Jeep Wrangler to a Tech School and had them do the lift kit. He bought the parts and they supplied the labor and it was considered training for the tech's soon to be. They did an excellent job and he was happy with the work. That was a few years back and they still have the Jeep running around with out any lift issues. So, that was a great deal. He bough the 5 inch lift and shocks for about $700 and got it installed free. They had to wait a 2 days for the job to get done since the students were so busy that week. But, who cares? My buddy said it was worth the wait.
