I think the great learning experience here is WHY the vast majority of Ranger/Explorer/Bronco2 owners remove their auto hubs, install manual hubs
and the more environmentally responsible of these huck the auto's into the first scrap metal pile they come across.
Those with less care for the environment huch them into the nearest large body of water to see if the phuckers float.
Is locking your hubs before you get into your truck when you think you might need 4x4 that day really such a terrible responsibility for you?
If it is hire a godamned chauffer.
