4th gen seats in 3rd gen?

Would they be a direct bolt in? or would they need some fabrication to work?

If you are using the same style seat bench/bucket, then they are a direct bolt in. I have 04' buckets and shorty console in my 97, dropped right in and took a half hr at the most to install.

If I'm not mistaken, 60/40 seats and buckets use the same tracks.

i have a 98 with 60/40 and the tracks and mounting holes, even the seat pan are WAY different than a 97 single cab. I don't know about an extended cab though if that's what you have.
