4r44e shift kits

where can i get a shift kit? i have looked through several pages of this forum and haven't seen many posts about the 4r44e

what mods should i do? i have around 142k on it, and i drive very hard.... truck is a 2wd

Have you regularly flushed the transmission fluid?

That mileage is pretty incredible without a rebuild for a 4R44E. If and when you do rebuild it would be a good time to install a shift kit.

Superior and TransGo both sell shift kits for this transmission.

yeah we regularly flush the tranny ever so often.... probably time for it again... what about replacing the epc and things of that nature? also... i know there were tsbs and factory fixes for some issues, are these sddressed in the shift kits? and what about sonnax?

anyways, still haven't put in a shift kit... and want to.... there are no issues with the tranny, but i have like 173k on it now
