Replaced trans cooler lines. For the life of me I can’t remember taking a fitting off of here but now I’m thinking I must have. Does this require a fitting between the lower line and trans, or the line goes straight to the transmission? And if it does require a fitting, what one and where to get it?

Looks like it does. Here's one on ebay. They say it's 3/8 pipe thread to 5/16 flare fitting.

Tried that size. It’s not it. The fittings on the line are too large

Of course after I ordered a 2 pack of the wrong size fittings, I immediately found the old fitting from the transmission sitting on the cowl of the truck ugh. So good to go on that. Now to fill the transmission and see if the manual shift works
