4bt cummins in a 96 ranger

what kind of money and time would be involved, also what are some issues that i might run run into
 
Alot of money, alot of time, alot of work.

Its all custom so you better know all your p's and q's.

actual install time is relative to chassis setup tib/ttb sla/sas, 50-90 hrs and 4000 for a basic install.

the 4000 price is averaged to the prices i have seen recently locally craigslist and ebay.. this is running the 4bt as a complete take out with its original transmission from whatever it was installed in.


problems for fitment mostly starter related depending on the actual powertrain selection and intake components sometimes need to be traded from one style for another.

thats what i would have into it if i wanted to do it today.

The starter problem can be cured by using an early 7.3l powerstroke starer and a modified starter spacer.
