4 yl ext cabs still around?

Ive been looking to buy a ranger for a while now but i want a 4 banger ext. cab and have found none that are newer than 1995. So my question is did/do they even make the 4 banger ext. cabs?

You can get brand new ones in a supercab with a 2.3L. I think they started making them in 2006.

yes seen a 98 in the junkyard a few years ago, and with the new 2.3l you can buy an 08/09 ranger extend cab I4 only in 2wd though

say 4x4 ended in 97 for the 4 cyclinder regular cab

when i went looking 2 years ago.. i could not find one right away. they are in high demand for the obvious reasons. it took me 3 months to find my truck on the used vehicle market here....

I drive one almost every day. Its mostly on where you look. Spread your search more. Most ext cabs came with the 3.0 or 4.0. 2.3 is mostly in the std cab but can still be found in the ext cab model as well.

Yes, they are there. I came across one last year before I bought a new Ranger. They are hard to find. Try searching the dealerships on the Ford website, or have a dealer do a search for you.

I don't know if Mazda still sells them, but since it is the same as the Ranger, consider searching the Mazda dealers as well.
