4" vs. 6" Skyjacker Suspension


when you put on a lift kit, do you have to replace driveshafts?
As far as I know its not necessary unless you go more extreme, 6"+. After that I would imagine the pinion angles would come into effect and it might be necessary to get custom driveshafts as well as other modifications. With the higher lifts 5 to 6" or better steering has a fairly large factor as well. There would have to be some modifcation to have a proper functioning steering. Some of the other members may have more experience.
 
no i dident, i have a 6" susp..lift drive shafts are fine, and im running a 2.9 with 33x12.50 tires and 3.73 gears and can still power brake the shit out of the swompers. im getting 18 mpg to.
