4 spd drive train question

I have a 83 2wd - 2.3 RBV that I have been restoring. I've added a 3" body lift and a 4" suspension lift with helper leafs and Rancho shocks. Anytime I try and move in reverse the shift will pop out of gear. Does anyone know what I could check? Only thing I can think of is that the rear needs to be tilted up towards the tranmision.

i have the same problem and someone suggested that the transmission mount is broke. I checked it and it was, i put on a good one and it still does it, it just takes alot more for it to do it. So first i would check the transmission mount and whatever anyone else suggests i'll be eagerly listening.
