this one is a 2.9 diesel 4x4

the argentina ranger was really made in the US ranger base
first one they introduced here was using the 98-2000 design, and used a crappy 2.5turbo diesel engine
they all had 4x4 look, but not all of them were 4x4, just like the EDGE

then, in the 03 model, they updated a bit the design and replaced the 2.5 with a 2.8 turbo diesel

they redesigned it again at early 04-05 this was the last argentinian ranger to be sold in Honduras, the limited edition had a 3.0 turbo diesel, now they sell the crappy mazda thai made ranger with a 2.5 again:annoyed::annoyed:

my grandma purchased one like this one, im gonna clean it and take detailed pics for u guys, so u can see it better, its a great work truck, but with a little tough ride, the diesel engines have great power, they can reach 160km/h easily(100mph)

that 4 door looks awefull, needs a lift and bigger tires to look semi normal

No pictures honduras - they are not showing up - check the page you linked them from, it may not allow hotlinks. You may have to save them and then upload to photobucket . . .

im gonna post em soon

Alot of the overseas Rangers are also available with solid axles as well. My cousin's in the German Army, a guy in his unit has an extended cab 4x4 with solid axles from the factory! Now that's what I'd love to have, at least as an option.

You can order one in Mexico and drive it across the border and legalize it here (non diesel). i've had a few cousins that live down by the border drive them across, plain as day and register them and the DMV (or DPS). when they ask for VIN/Make/Model/Year, they dont care if its and ext. cab, crew cab, etc.

of course, they got the hook up with the "emissions" or "inspections" part to get the sticker, but i'm sure they'll pass. on and btw... they got cast iron V8 blocks in em!

Ive seen one four door crew cab ranger in person at a stop light when I was with my dad. I wanted it soooo bad.

they are not sold here because it would interfere with the SportTrac sales. Want a 4 door ranger ..... buy a SportTrac.

they are not all that great, trust me, bumpy ride, totally uncomfortable rear seat, thats why the US didnt get one, way better is the sport trac if u need the seat and some cargo area

sport trac is totally gay. its on explorer with the trunk chopped. When the day comes that i want a crew cab I'll get the tacoma

why I have been thinking of taking a trip down to Mex. and buy a 4door ranger, Come back and put my fagtech lift, light bar, front glass, and change interrior things(six disk, amp subs). Give it to the future wife to drive after my other truck is done. How sweet of a wedding gift would that be.
