4 door ranger in us only 35k

Wenches are VERY expensive. You spend half of everything you own/make on them, sometimes over several decades.

Sometimes all in one shot when they leave.
I don't see the big deal about a four-door Ranger. Just get a Sport Trac.

I agreee, but i always see people posting that they should make them, so i figured i would post it.

I think the big deal is the for some reason a Sport-Trac is/was priced quite abit higher than a Ranger.

Only if you get a loaded one. My '05 is a base XLT (not Premium) and stickered for $3000 more than my '02 Ranger, which admittedly had every option available except the 6 disc CD and factory hard tonneau.
The Sport Trac bed is probably smaller but has the advantage of being made out of plastic. Granted most of the ones in dealer stock are loaded. The dealer had to get mine from another dealer because they only had one in stock and it was an Adrenalin loaded to the max. It's more of an SUV than a pickup, I realize. All I'm saying is that because you have the Sport Trac in the U.S. is likely why they do not make the four-door Ranger here.

So a base XLT Sport Trac is only $3000 more than a fully loaded Ranger? They are probably even more expensive now that they redesigned them and made them bigger.

$3000 more three years later. New vs. new is probably closer.

Casual observation of the dealer's lot tells me the price didn't go up much if at all. Where they get spendy is when they're loaded up with leather, moonroof, big-time stereo, etc.
I got a base XLT mostly because I did not want step bars, which were included on the XLT Premium. I had them on my Ranger and found they were mostly good just for getting my pants dirty in the winter.

I was in Curacao and Guatemala this summer. Four door Rangers were all over. What was really exciting is that almost every single pickup down there is four door. No matter how compact they are, they almost all had a quad cab. I'd say the Toyota Hilux was the most common.

Here's a pic I managed to snap of one out of my car's window in Guatemala. Notice the volcano in the background.
