you have the same motor as me. mine is gettin tired and with my setup i get about 12-14 around town. the best i have gotten on the freeway is around 15 maybe 16 if i milk it. but with the OHV 4.0l i just havent found a way to get better than that with 33's. but i do know that the higher you go on gears the faster your engine turns and that wont get you better gas milage. just help with power a lil bit.
you think 3.73's and 33's is the best? idk. with 32' i feel like its underpowered on any hill. i still manage to get 20 mpg on the highway and about 16-17 around town. i think with a bit more gear it will be better around town because i wont need to force it to move as much
i plan on running 4.10's and 33's for awhile.. and see if i like it before i gear the front axle i'm swapping in. that way i only buy front gears and do the work once. if i like the 4.10's after my 8.8 swap and 33's-- then i'll gear the front. if i don't, i'll regear both 4.56's or 4.88's.. mine being an auto i may need the 56's or 88's
