4.0L stroker

The only thing it would have in common with the 4.3 vortec would be displacement, nothing else. The motor is completely different. Think of how many 2.0L engines exist....are any of those the same? Say, a mitsubishi and a escort engine? I think you get the point...

a 4.3 is a 90* V6 a 4.0 is a 60* to start with

lots of manufacturers make motors of similar displacement. chevy and for both made a 3.8, 5.0, ect ect...

except chevys 5.0 is actualy a 5.0 not a 4.9
