Seems like a lot of SC 4.0's have come out of the woodwork in the last few months on this site and other RBV sites. Awesome.

Now if only could find some S/C 3.0s......

I have seen a few 3.0s pop up on RPS.

True, but they're usually whipples. I wouldn't mind a setup like the OP here...

When I see boosted 4.0's sometimes I wanna scream at them as badly as a lot of 4.0 owners scream at 3.0 users who want to boost.... I lost count how many times I see someone shouting "DO A 5.0 SWAP HURR DURR! CHEAPER AND BOLTS IN!" at a 3.0 owner but I personally see no problems with taking a motor you like and making it better.

My 4.0 as been the most reliable powerplant that I have ever owned. I beat the hell out of it and at 170k its doesn't burn a drop of oil or even dirty it up. I think with a little boost it will be the perfect fit for my truck. It has low end torque already for 4x4 trails and with the cam and supercharger it should hold its own on the street even with 35s.

I'd like to know where a person can get those centrifugal blowers.... really wouldnt mind one for the ranger. I'm leery of the remote setups I see people put on their Rangers under the bed on Youtube.

All the actual 4.0 OHV kits were discontinued 10 years ago....only option now is lucking out finding a lightly used setup or start from scratch.
